The 7th Koh Samui International regatta was dominated by very ligth winds, which isn't favourable for heavier boats like Thairaver.

It was a first time we raced under Sportboat rule, and are sure that in better winds we would have preformed well in this class

Unfortunetly there were some squals during the nigth, one which resulted in the beaching of Thairaver. Luckly no damage was done, apart from a bruised ego.

The first couple of hours of the first racing day looked very promising.

After those hours it appeared that Boreas, Notus, Eurus and Zephyrus ( the ancient Greek wind gods) went on a holiday together far away from Samui.
Bye Bye Thairaver.......
